What Didn’t Make The Cut

Sometimes I just don’t have the space to put all the pictures I take into my blog posts, so this week I’m sharing a few that didn’t make the cut, starting with a goose who modeled for me at the Rice Avenue Town Lot in Kittery.

This year I visited the lighthouse on Burnt Island, which used a unique red-colored lens in its window to differentiate it from neighboring lighthouses. The old light is on display at the bottom of the lighthouse’s narrow staircase.

While visiting the Amethyst Lot in my most recent blog post, I noted the giant cruise ship that was docked in the harbor.

During my trip to South Point Ocean Avenue Lands, I discovered a remarkably circular rock on the beach, which now sits in a bowl on my shelf with my keys.

Fort Foster had some beautifully painted, concrete blocks in the parking lot.

Finally, I captured some close-up pictures of seeding plants at Two Lights State Park and Walsh Preserve that I never shared.
