Sunset with silhouettes of evergreen trees.

Bald Mountain

This post was originally published November 2, 2017.

It's been a rough week for Maine. After tropical storm force winds, many trees met an early end, homes are still without power, and kids had to postpone their night of trick-or-treats. Maine--such a beautiful place--is looking a little drab, so today's post is a series of pictures that I took while trying to capture the changing leaves perhaps a week or two too soon. Instead, the night caught up with me, and I captured the changing of color in the sky.
